  • SP3401, SP3402, SP3403, ES3401, ES3402, and ES3403 AC drives from Nidec Control Techniques. These models fall into two different product lines used for motor control: 1. Unidrive SP Series (SP3xxx) This is Control Techniques' general-purpose, high-performance inverter series. Features: Highly versatile and flexible, supporting multiple control modes including open-loop vector, closed-loop vector, servo control, and V/Hz control. Applications: Widely used across various industrial environments, such as cranes, printing machinery, material handling, fans and pumps, and extruders. Model Distinctions: The SP3401, SP3402, and SP3403 belong to the "Size 3" framework. The primary difference is their varying power and current output capabilities, suitable for three-phase power supplies from 380V to 480V AC. 2. Unidrive ES Series (ES3xxx) This is a specialized variant of the SP series, specifically engineered for elevator applications. Features: The ES series is essentially a customized version of the SP series that integrates specific firmware (software) and functionalities for the elevator industry. Key Functions: It features a Zero Speed Holding with Position Control function, which provides maximum motor shaft rigidity to prevent the elevator from slipping or lunging during the start-up phase, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride experience. Applications: Dedicated to elevator and lift control systems, suitable for both geared and gearless machines. Model Distinctions: The ES3401, ES3402, and ES3403 share similar electrical specifications and power ratings with their equivalent size SP models; however, they are optimized specifically for elevator use.
