Control Techniques Unidrive inverters SP4401, SP4402, SP4403, ES4401, ES4402, ES4403 What are they Control Techniques Unidrive SP4401, SP4402, SP4403 and ES4401, ES4402, ES4403 inverters are series of AC inverters manufactured by Nidec Control Techniques, and their main differences lie in their application scenarios and power/current output capabilities. The SP Series (SP4401, SP4402, SP4403) are general-purpose high-performance inverters, designed for various industrial applications, such as pumps, fans, conveying systems, and machinery requiring precise speed and torque control. The ES Series (ES4401, ES4402, ES4403) are dedicated elevator drive solutions. Although the ES series is based on the Unidrive SP platform, its firmware and hardware design are customized for elevator controllers, such as having specific functions like zero-speed hold, position control, and optimized S-curve acceleration/deceleration curves, in order to provide a smooth riding experience.

Functionality: The ES series includes advanced functions specific to elevators, such as zero-speed hold, direct floor positioning, optimized start/stop performance, and 48-96V DC input power capability required for emergency evacuation.
Control Modes: Both series support multiple control modes, including V/Hz control, open-loop vector control, closed-loop vector control, and servo control, etc.
